The plans for the week of November 21-25, 2016
1. The students will continue writing their own novel/short story.
2. The students will finish reading their second graphic novel and will complete their second summary. This worksheet can be found on their Hapara Graphic Novel Workspace.
3. The students will start their second paragraph using the Point, Proof, Comment format. There is a video on paragraph writing in their Hapara Graphic Novel Workspace.
Reminder:
- charge your laptop/Chromebook every night
- bring earbuds to every class
- bring your graphic novel to every class
Taking a look ahead...
In December, the students will be creating podcasts - focusing on different Christmas themes. The students will be working in groups to create these podcasts. The students will definitely need earbuds to do this assignment properly. The students will also continue working on creating paragraphs using Point, Proof, Comment.
