Plans for this week:
1. The students are reading the Ottawa Citizen online and blogging about articles they find interesting.
2. The students will be working on writing a news article about one of the numerous WW1 artifacts that are on display in my classroom. The due date is yet to be determined. You will find more info about this assignment on their workspace.

April 24 - 28, 2017
Plans for this week:
1. Finish poetry project. This project needs to be printed and assembled together in a creative manner. It is due on Thursday, April 27.
You do not need to provide the link or print the GRAPHIC POETRY or the MAKEY MAKEY. I will take a look at it on your computer during class time.
2. Students should be ready to present their choral poem. The poem can be found on their poetry workspace. The poem should be memorized. This is due on Friday, April 28.
Next week, we start newspaper writing.

1. Finish Propaganda poster and paragraph: it must be handed in on Friday, March 31.
2. Among the Hidden Quiz on Friday, March 31
3. If you have a handheld device (iPod,...) and can get the Google Streetview App, please bring to class as we are going to be using Google Cardboard VR for an activity. If you don't have access, don't worry, you will share with a friend. The students will be starting this activity once they have completed their project and we will continue with this assignment into next week.
